This product has done much to alleviate problems in menopausal and perimenopausal women over the years. However, it did me quite a bit of damage. I first started taking it for uterine fibroids, and it did help with that problem. However, this product is fat soluble, and builds up in the body over time. In my case, I am extremely sensitive to cortisol, which is a steroid manufactured by the presence of progesterone. The build-up of this steroid in my blood caused gastroparesis (paralysis of the large muscle in the stomach), insulin resistance, hypothyroidism, and vitiligo, which is a whitening of the skin in patches. A saliva test confirmed the build-up of progesterone in my system, and I stopped using the cream. As a result, everything is back to normal except my thyroid which will probably always require supplementation. To avoid a repeat of my cautionary tale, make sure you test yourself at three month intervals with a saliva test for hormone levels that you can do at home, mail off to a lab, and have the results sent back to you, without the need for an expensive office visit. Careful monitoring will give you the maximum benefit without the possible horrific side effects.
As an aside, under "Product Features" there is a Bible verse quoted. I am somewhat offended by a Bible verse being used to advertise such a product.

I heard about this type of cream on the Dr Oz show and took it upon myself to purchase it without reading further or talking to my medical DR. I had a friend tell me you need to start even lower than what directions state and work your way up.
Still, while following all directions, within a week I had such side effects! I felt even worse than I had before I tried it.
Hormones are definitely not something to play with without a professional's advice/guidance as we are all unique, have our own unique issues, hormonal imbalances, take different meds or vitamin supplements and this is not one-size-fits-all!
USE WITH CAUTION UNDER THE ADVICE OF A PROFESSIONAL!!

I used the cream for a month with no results. I have not slept in 9 months and the scale keeps moving up by itself! I was sadly disapointed.
I was very intriged by Dr. John Lee's work. Maybe I am more estrogen dominant and it will take longer to work. I will continue to use it longer if only for its anti cancer effects.

I bought this product for my mother (in menopause) and after about a month of use, her hot flashes are gone! Like completely gone. For all the women out there, always use bioidentical hormones, it's so important. Don't mess up your health. And if this cream is not enough for you (but be patient), try adding some bioidentical estradiol. Good luck to everyone :)
